Wondering What’s The Process? Here You Go!

South Korea uses a two-semester system, just like many other notable countries. The beginning of the academic year occurs in March. Between the months of September and November, applications are being accepted for the same.

Some universities do, however, accept applications between the months of May and June for admission in the month of September.

To study in South Korea, you will need a study visa. The application process for the D-2 Visa for Regular Educational Program, which is available to students enrolled in bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD programs, can take up to 10 days to complete. Navigating the visa process may not be the most exciting part of your study abroad preparation, but it is still absolutely essential. -You must have completed 10+2, or 12 years of school (primary and secondary), in order to enrol in undergraduate programs in South Korea. 

-In order to apply for master’s and PhD programs, you must have a bachelor’s degree. 

-For programs taught in Korean in South Korea, you must take the Test of Proficiency in Korean (TOPIK) and submit your results together with your application. 

-If you are applying for English-taught courses, you must submit TOEFL scores.
