Types of Engineering Courses

An engineering degree will be achieved after 4 years of study in a specialized branch. One can pursue an engineering degree after completing class 12. 

The engineering diploma is a course of 3 years done after class 10. One can obtain a degree in engineering through lateral entry, thus joining the 2nd year of engineering. An engineering certificate is a short term course and is mostly offered in specializations.
